This conflict could go one of two ways, neither is small.

Amidst rough seas, you need a steady sailor.
Historian and classicist Victor Davis Hanson just delivered a masterful breakdown of the Iran conflict with clarity few can match.
Not just what’s happening, but what’s coming next.
“I think we’re going to see things that we haven’t seen in our lifetime in the Middle East,” he said.
This could go one of two ways, neither is small.
Victor Davis Hanson isn’t known for hyperbole. So when he opens with a warning like this, people pay attention:

VDH isn’t know for hyperbole? This whole article is hyperbole.
His analysis and insight is not greater than I have heard from dudes sitting around the lunchroom at work.
VDH misses a whole lot of points. Iran never attacked anyone. Let me restate that: Iran NEVER attacked anyone. (the Iran-Iraq War was when Iraq invaded Iran). It was Israel, that recently attacked Iran. Iran has every right to defend itself, including blowing up military facilities that are located beneath hospitals, which the Israelis have admitted to having. Yes. It is the Israelis who are using human shields.
Regarding pursuit of nuclear weapons. VDH refused to acknowledge that Isreal refused to have their nuclear sites inspected by the IAEA. Iran does. On top of that, who can blame Iran for wanting nuclear weapons as history tells us (for example North Korea) that if you have nukes, you tend to get yourself not attacked by NATO.
VDH’s pearl clutching and gnashing of teeth is almost comical. “Oh, it could go one of two ways, and either one is monumental”. Seriously, this guy is supposed to be a High IQ historian. He may be High-something, but it sure ain’t IQ. What about the Third Option Victor? The Israelis are fed up with war criminals and corrupt ba$tards like Netanyaho and the various Neo-Cons and are seriously pi$$ed at getting Israel into a war it cannot win and are getting themselves “Gaza-ed” and finding out their Iron Dome is more of an Iron Colander and not only are their homes, power plants, ports, banks and stock markets getting blasted, the cost of this war is going to bury them forever and the American good-will has bled to the point of “bail yourselves out, we ain’t dying for you and we are done paying for your ‘adventures'” That third option restores peace and sanity in the Holy Land.
Victor also forgot to mention, or it never came across his mind, that the Israelis are very good at false flags. He never get around to pondering whether or not the USS Nimitz may suffer the same fate as the USS Liberty, which was attacked by Israel with the intention of the sinking getting blamed on Egypt. The problem is that the valiant sailors abord the USS Liberty kept the boat from sinking, even though many lives were lost. So, now we have the Nimitz sailing into the hot zone. A large aircraft carrier, set to be decomissioed next year and, it does not have the latest and very expensive F-35C fighter planes, rather it carries the almost-legacy F-18s. So, if the Israelis do attack and sink the Nimitz, then we have Option 4, very bad for everyone.
Hmm. Let me think about this for a bit. I have doubled Victors original analysis. And I am just a guy who works 8 hours a day loading trailers and I am not an expert.
But let’s face it folks, over what has happened ever since the Covid hoax started, are we not pretty well done with experts?
