Unceded simply means that the people origionally occupying and area did not voluntarily or make a proclamation that the new occupiers are now the owners.
“We own all of British Columbia and we never signed it over to you”
“You were unable to control it and we took it over, those are the facts on the ground”
“Unceded” and “Terra Nullis”, although they have basis in dictionary definition, are just more examples of Babylonian Word Magic. Like trying to convince people that there is something called “gender” to describe males and females instead of the obviously correct term of “sex”.
