  1. I realize this is an American government position, but I sincerely hope this woman gets the job. Wow.

I wonder if people like Theresa Tam, Bonnie Henry, and other self acknowledged “important” health care bureaucrats are listening?

This women appears to be someone who actually knows the “problems” with the current medical health system. Someone who is actually concerned about medical health “prevention” rather than “pharmaceutical” interdiction.

In Canada, our physicians and medical support staff have been simply reduced in status to being government paid employees who must follow the government’s dictatorial faulty health care directions, or suffer the consequences of being disenfranchised and/or fired.

Our Canadian physicians and attendant health care nurses and support staff are very good, if you require an emergency health care situation, such as a heart attack, motor vehicle accident, etc. Although, the reality is their ranks have been considerably reduced by various “socialistic” government policies in various Provinces such as B.C.

As a result, if you require any other long term health care intervention such as cancer, various surgery procedures such as a hip or knee replacement, mental health, organ transplant, etc., you must take a number and go to the back of the waiting lineup for an unknown amount of time. The only exception to this process is if you happen to be an “important” politician, serving prisoner, trans-gender person, or a federal government employee.
