I”m always amazed at how much money Alberta doles out to provinces in Eastern Canada. Especially Quebec.
Still, Quebec refuses to allow the construction of a pipeline which would greatly help Alberta, not to mention Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI. Instead, these provinces must import oil from Saudi Arabia and South America. Like that makes sense.
It’s about time Alberta played hardball. Unless Alberta is treated fairly, separation may be the solution. It’ll take guts, but it can be done.
