The King Comes To Town And An MP Resigns For Defeated Poilievre
In true UK Tradition , we have the King coming to read the Throne Speech and an MP resigning for his leader.
All those anti Monarchists must be up in arms and those who think one should earn one’s Parliamentary seat must feel likewise. The MP who is resigning says he will run again in the next election in that riding. Tells you how ‘ manufactured’ it all is.
Like others there were other things that true Conservatives disliked about Poilievre —-his lack of Constitutional integrity during the Covid fiasco —no where to be found when the truckers were in Ottawa and nothing since to indicate he is a lover of freedom. Do you remember how he as leader chastised a couple of his MP’s for meeting with a visiting European MP freedom fighter, Christine Anderson?
Never had much time for leaders hanging around when those who know them best reject them. I think Liberal Leader and Premier David Peterson of Ontario lost his seat back in my day. His Party lost the Government , too.
So the old boys club is very much alive——-and therefore the old politics , notwithstanding all the sound and fury the freedom movement has created.
No transparency and accountability re covid—no integrity regarding Parliament and MP ‘s who break the Conflict of Interest Act being ineligible in serving ———-and the same for the Provincial Governments .
