In many ways, the move seems pre-ordained. If Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is going to successfully transition Canada to an authoritarian state, concrete action of this nature is necessary.

So it is that our PM has told his Liberal caucus he will invoke the never-before-used Emergencies Act to give the federal government extra powers to handle protests across the country.

“The Emergencies Act, which replaced the War Measures Act in the 1980s, defines a national emergency as a temporary urgent and critical situation that seriously endangers the lives, health or safety of Canadians.”

Only two prime ministers in Canadian history have invoked these measures. They are both named Trudeau. As obscured by Canadian media, the two share ideological affinities– appreciation of communism being the mainstay.

One of the justifications for declaring an emergency is foreign-influenced activities within or relating to Canada that are detrimental to the interests of Canada and are clandestine or deceptive or involve a threat to any person.”

Sounds more like a plan issued by Global Affairs Canada. For those who believe our current prime minister is a tyrant-in-disguise, all this makes perfect sense. Regardless of circumstance, for the past six years Justin Trudeau has been incrementally striping away rights and freedoms of Canadians.

An irony is found in the fact that it was Pierre Trudeau who enshrined individual rights into the Canadian constitution in 1982. Since this time, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms has functioned as a barometer for civil rights for Canadians.

Nothing has trampled on the Charter like Covid. Although our current PM was on the warpath previous to the pandemic, the virus from China has impeded individual freedoms more than any phenomenon in the past century.

  1. Like father like son, regardless who you think is his actual father, Pierre or Fidel.

That said if this clown does this then his already bare minority government will be in shambles and there is no likely way he can win another election let alone a majority. His caucus and cabinet must have members threatening to cross the floor, well err maybe not they are for the most part mentally challenged liberals.

I still think this POS will take his February walk in the snow (like Pierre did in Feb. 1984) and soon retire from office… The big guys who control the corrupted Liberal Party of Canada don’t like leaders who can’t even hope to bring them a majority government. MY GUT TELLS ME THEY WILL PURGE THIS SACK OF DOO CALLED JUSTIN TRUDEAU FROM OFFICE SHORTLY!

Ask yourselves honestly, if his name was not Trudeau, would he ever have become Prime Minister of Canada?

  2. This emergency act can’t help but blow up in his face. The Canadian Armed Forces has already stated that they will stand with the Truckers. So, who does that leave him with? A few police officers not even full forces because as many as half or better have walked. Ottawa Police called for 1600 backup officers, and received only 250. It is now down to Trudeau and a few civil servants, some of these may not even be willing.
This now leaves it up to the military to step in and take over. Trudeau will be ousted. So basically the only scenario left for Trudeau is that which Les has mentioned. The February walk in the snow.
They should rename the emergency act again to the Trudeau Act, since they are the only ones to impose it. It would remind the future about the past.

Justin Trudeau is not a leader. Never has been, never will be. He is a COWARD can’t even face his own countrymen over a peaceful act. Where would he be bunkered down if a full fledged war happened on his doorstep? And they talked about Harper having been placed in a closet during an attack. Trudeau would be cowarding away in some well hidden root cellar.

IT IS TIME FOR HIM TO BE CALLED OUT. EITHER TALK TO THE PEOPLE give into the demands for the elimination of ALL Mandates and the Truckers will go merrily on their way,
or QUIT, Mandates automatically dropped, and Truckers go merrily on their way while military take charge for a spell.
Such a simple solution, but too confounded for him.
In answer to Les’ last question. No. Justin isn’t capable to running a lemonade stand. I can’t imagine him teaching out young people. YIKES!!!!

  3. They are very sick people ,both him and his stepfather or whoever he is and the Trudeau name should never be seen again. They both hate Canada so much that Justin Trudeau will make sure that whatever Pierre Trudeau started Justin Trudeau will finish. He’s not going to back down until Canada is destroyed or someone pulls him out by the hair on his head. I would love to be the one that does it, just saying.

  4. I once again pose this open question to our military forces: How much more will this require before you come down off your mountain and do the right thing? The point of being “Too late” is fast approaching and action will have to be taken sooner, rather than later, or else nothing can be done to save us all.

Peaceful protests are not working. Demonstrators are being ganged up on and beaten to the ground (It happened in Windsor; the bar was set, there). This will eventually lead to violent revolution and lots of people will die, just like it has happened in countless other countries around the world where the leadership is controlled by foreign assets. It will be no different, here. Is this the Canada you want to see? Is this the Canada you want to pass onto your kids? Will your story be that of “No, little Timmy. I stood by and allowed a chicken coward to burn our country to the ground”, or will it be “I helped saved Canada by removing Trudeau from the office he illegally held”? Make your choice. Every day draws close to doomsday and that day is VERY close.

  5. don’t lose hope – it isn’t all bad. protest movements go thru ebb & flows. for every action there is a reaction. keep faith that canada can resolve this peacefully w/o violence. that’s who we want to be. the protesters at coutts willingingly leaving & shaking hands with police was admirable. made me think of gandhi – not to draw comparisons suggesting we endure what indians endured under the raj – no def not! but that peace & dignity bring the best victory. there are many ways to still express & pressure for change.

  6. Everyone should call or email their MLA and tell them to demand a non-confidence vote dissolving Trudeau minority government. We needed to send a message to Liberal party and Justin Castro.
