The Liberals running the City of Ottawa are angry.
Ottawa City Councillor Mathieu Fleury wants to seize the protesting truckers’ GoFundMe support account, which has raised upwards of $9 million, to cover the costs of policing the city — among other costs.
They wouldn’t do this for BLM rallies; they are doing it to be punitive and petty.
Would they have traction in court? At this point, it is unclear.
All we know is that Trudeau is putting all of his efforts right now into ending this protest “by any means necessary.” Those aren’t my words; that is what the Ottawa Police Chief just said on the State Broadcaster.

The Police Chief of the City of Ottawa is a LIAR. He must be related to our PM, the “Groper”. The total police budget for the entire year 2022 is $365 million. He is now claiming that it is costing the police department $800,000 a day to deal with the Trucker convoy. Are the police not going about their usual day to day business and doing absolutely nothing else but dealing with the truckers? NOT BLOODY LIKELY. Let him and the City Mayor sue the truckers and then they’ll have to open their books and show their actual costs. The reality is, it might be costing the police an extra $10,000 to $15,000 a day but absolutely nothing more. Politicians are known to be LIARS and apparently this is no exception in Ottawa.
On a side note, I’ve long held a trust and love for this country, but in recent years I’ve had my self imposed rose coloured glasses now removed. As far as I can now see that there is no true reconciliation between Ottawa, eastern and central Canada and the western provinces. The west has been played like a violin for too long now and any reconciliation would be only window dressing now.
Sadly I’ve come to this conclusion that the only plausible and likely successful future for what was Canada is its break up, or in reality the western provinces and territories being true to independence, separating to become our own new nation.

A Republican form of government free from the now stale Monarchy, will be our form of government.
I suggest that Saskatoon be named the Official Capital City of this new Republic. We shall have our own Central bank and currency based on a new Western Canada Dollar. All Marxist parties and ideologies WILL BE OUTLAWED! A new Constitution that can use our existing Charter as a base will be had. Or better to use and adopt much of the US Constitution to our new nation’s needs. Immediately a new trade deal between the Republic of Western Canada, the USA and Mexico. should be had.
Our breakup with the rest of Canada should be diplomatic and should include a new draft of defence treaties such as NORAD.
The list of things to do will go on but I now believe that it’s in our future to finally break the western provinces away from the corrupted and growing unethical gap between us and Ottawa as well as the central and eastern provinces.
I can see this happening before 2050 if not much sooner. Western Canada has moved beyond the needs of Ottawa or even Toronto running our show. We are a mature and a fully developed provinces and territories to now run our own like minded affairs as need be.
