Open letter to Health Canada

Health Canada is supposed to protect Canadians, and yet, your seeming reluctance to evaluate anti-viral treatments for Covid appears contrary to your stated purpose.
.
I recently attended one of the several Rights and Freedoms protests where many Canadians are concerned that, contrary to accepted medical ethics and the Nuremburg Code, coercion is being used to force people into taking vaccines.
.
I walked through the crowd, talking to individuals and it became quickly apparent that these protesters are not ‘anti-vaxxers’, nor are they ill-informed. These are people with genuine and knowledgeable concerns over what appears to be the active suppression of life-saving information on alternate anti-viral treatments, the experimental nature and questionable efficacy of the vaccines, and the suppression of information on vaccine adverse effects.

These Canadians seem far more knowledgeable than many other friends and acquaintances who have passively submitted to their two shots.
.
I am concerned that the slow response of Health Canada and reluctance to evaluate the effectiveness of anti-virals is undermining public trust.

From the Health Canada website you state:

“Health Canada is closely monitoring all potential therapeutic treatments for COVID-19, including treatments being studied in international clinical trials.”

You must therefore be aware of the following recent studies:

As you must know there have been many earlier published studies of the early treatment with Ivermectin:

And many reports on the effective use of Ivermectin in several different countries to prevent hospitalizations and deaths from Covid.

There have also been many anecdotal reports of hospitalized patients with refractory Covid morbidity who recovered quickly once treated with Ivermectin. Certainly enough anecdotal reports to raise the question for more serious scientists.

You must also be aware of the urgent need for early treatment of Covid and the danger of reliance on vaccines that could be losing efficacy as new variants emerge and are implicated in a large number of vaccine adverse effects.

With such urgent need it seems irresponsible that you are not actively investigating this promising alternative and seem to be procrastinating as stated:

“To date, Health Canada has not received any drug submission or clinical trial application for Ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19.”
.
You have to wait for someone else? The use of Ivermectin to treat Covid has been around for over a year.
.
Why have you not fast-tracked an investigation into this cheap drug? Or is the answer in the question?
.
Why was Remdisivir, a novel, expensive, ineffective anti-viral with many adverse events, fast-tracked after a single study? Or is the answer in the question?

Your site continues:

“For drugs that have the potential to be helpful in treating COVID-19, Health Canada encourages drug manufacturers to conduct clinical trials. This would provide an opportunity for the healthcare community to collect information on the effectiveness of the treatment and its associated risks.”

Does this mean that Health Canada is waiting for someone else to take responsibility, waiting while Canadians die and the economy and education of our youth is severely disrupted? Surely you should be leading not following.
.
How long will you wait? Remember Ivermectin has a 40 year history of widespread internal human use for roundworms and river blindness, won a Nobel Prize and has very few adverse effects.
.
Why is there an active suppression of information on Ivermectin and why are physicians being discouraged from prescribing Ivermectin for off label use? Is this censorship condoned by Health Canada despite long accepted medical practice?
.
Meanwhile, the media relies on your safety alerts, then misinterprets and incorrectly informs their viewers that there are no studies that support the use of Ivermectin. They also misstate that Ivermectin is only used in animals and stigmatizes Canadians for seeking Ivermectin when doctors won’t prescribe. Where are the Health Canada fact-checkers when you need them?

There is a freight-train of data coming from countries that are treating Covid successfully with Ivermectin and other anti-virals. More and more people are realizing that early, safe and effective treatments are possible and that the information is being actively suppressed  Are you going to continue to dither, kick the can down the road and further undermine the confidence that Canadians have in Health Canada?

Or are you going to get out in front? Don’t wait for someone else to set your research in motion.

And hopefully we won’t see these headlines in Canada:

Crimes against humanity? Surely not in Canada.

And when done reading, don’t condescend, none of the silly “Ivermectin is for horses y’all”. Treat us like adults, give us the straight data, no omissions no obfuscations.

To regain our trust you have to be trustworthy.

    AMINO ACIDS Apparently also work very well.
    The obvious reason for them not looking unto it is because there is no profit in it for BIG PHARMA.
    WAKE-UP HEALTH CANADA, so the rest of Canada can WAKE-UP, and not fall asleep permanently.

  3. Awesome we need more doctors, scientist speaking out and stopping this bio weapon. Wake up Canada Covid is a bio weapon, the jab is another component of the bio weapon. We grow old and die some grow old with lots of health issues and die sooner. You cannot stop old people from dying. You cannot stop sick people from dying. What you can do is talk about preventative measures of which our famed Dr. Bonnie Henry does not do. Be kind be calm is not going to help your health. Maybe some Vitamin d, c and zinc will keep you all healthy. Dr Heykl and Mrs. Hyde. The face of evil is the kind calm face of evil.
