Reports of Covid-19 are decreasing. Despite an outbreak of illness said to be Covid-19 aboard a Navy ship, a top US military official said Wednesday that more than one-third of service members are declining to take the vaccine. During a House hearing on the Armed Forces’ response to Covid-19, Representative Mike Rogers asked Major General Jeff Taliaferro, Vice Director for Operations, what percentage of service members have declined to receive the vaccine. Tallaferro replied that the number was somewhere around two-thirds acceptance. -GEG
