A sad reality. Canada beat out the Netherlands, which killed 9,958 of its citizens in 2024, an increase of 10% from 2023. Canada increased their 2023 total by 6.9%, seeing 16,499 euthanasia deaths, accounting for 5.1% of all deaths nationwide.
