The Archbishop is correct and is clear in noting we are in times of a pure division between good an evil. We are always battling between good and evil, personally and societally, but often good and evil are more abstract in condition.
But currently in global humanity we are seeing a culmination of many years of a lustful rise of evil throughout most of the world. None of what we are witnessing today came about overnight. It took many years and yes, Lucifer along with his demons chipped away at our confidence in ourselves as being more just and of our losing of faith in God. I could write many a points to hi-lite this but will note the beginning of our current fall from God’s grace and into the hands of evil began with the undermining of the traditional family as we once saw it in practice to faith with our God. I link currently it to around the 1960’s as a start.
Lucifer and his demons manipulated many of us to turn away from God or to turn God into an idol of a god. These people wanted as such idol allowed/allows us who failed/fail to accept the failing and the growing detachment from God and our debauchery of humanity as it appears today.
Even many a said to be Christian has chosen to make God into an idol of a god they want to believe… It’s easier for them that way to uphold a flawed or false moral standards if they can and likely with Lucifer’s help turn the one true God into a false/idol god. This all leads us to moral corruption as we change God into merely a god of our own minds and failings.
This has manifested today in much of what we see as clear GOOD vs. EVIL. Our battle is with how we will push back and defeat this current incarnation of evil today. Sadly many of us have uplifted and supported this evil cabal. Lucifer is running rough shot over us right now. Many of us choose to keep our heads in the sand rather than pushback. “If I don’t say anything, or do anything, evil will pass me by.” But I know this is a false premise.
I have been on a journey in recent years to reestablish what was once a child’s relationship with God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Much of my adult life I lived a life of what I now see as blind virtue signalling, which is code for selfishness and idol making as I fumbled between atheism and agnostics. Any moral references I had were based on my idol making or blind virtue signalling. NONE OF THIS MADE MY LIFE BETTER! I though finally chose to examine my adult life and ways I chose live now about 7-8 years ago. It was this that caused me to see that almost all of it was false, useless, immoral and stubborn. I lived so long with the thought of, “I DID NOT NEED ANY GOD!” But my reflections of such, drew me to the fact that without God I could never be truly moral, just, loving, of good intentions or even satisfied in my life.
Rejoining a journey of faith in God and my Saviour Jesus Christ has done more to clear and shape my mind, heart and soul than anything else in my life. GOD DOES WORK I MYSTERIOUS WAYS! I SAY DON’T IGNORE HIS CALLING TO YOU!
