Unfortunately, contrary to their self-serving idealology, obviously these people DO NOT know the law. There is no such legislation as the IMMUNIZATION ACT OF 1997. However, there is in fact a piece of Federal Legislation named the GENETIC NON-DISCLOSURE ACT that was passed by the Federal Government in 2017. The Province of Quebec challenged the legislation by asking for a Judicial Review by the Supreme Court of Canada. The SCC rendered their decision in 2020 and upheld the Law. You might want to read it. Section 2 defines what a “genetic test”. Section 3 lays out the provisions of what can or cannot be done. Section 6 limits any medical intrusion to a physician who is treating you for some medical reason, or if you are voluntarily part of a medical research project. Section 7 lays out some pretty impressive fines for violation of any provision of the Act.
