Under the infancy  act, the child can decide whether or not to be vaccinated and an alleged health professional can determine or coerce your child to take the jab.

Talk to your children, grandchildren and be there for them. The state has taken over your child.

This isan opportunity for adolescents to start making decisions about their own health. “Mature Minor Consent” is the consent a child gives to receive health care after the child has been assessed by a health care provider as having the necessary understanding to give the consent. In B.C. there is no set age when a child is considered capable to give consent. A child who is assessed by a health care provider as being capable to give consent is called a “Mature Minor”. Mature Minors can make an informed decision about immunization regardless of their parent/guardian/representative decision to consent or refuse immunization. News Letter from Edward Milne school in Sooke, British Columbia

Hello Parents, Guardians and Students of EMCS
Welcome to the 2021-22 school year. We are very excited to have our students back and hopefully have a more productive school year.
Island Health has been in contact with our School District, and EMCS has been requested to host a COVID vaccination clinic for EMCS students and staff interested in being vaccinated. The clinic will run on Tuesday, September 14th.  Please see the attached letter ABOVE from Island Health explaining details.  We will be receiving consent packages that will then be distributed on Thursday, Sept 9th or Friday, Sept 10th for our students to take home.   These are not personalized consent forms so students wishing to be vaccinated will need to enter appropriate information and bring the forms to the clinic.  At EMCS, students interested in being vaccinated in grades 9/10 will have access in the morning, grades 11/12 in the afternoon.  We anticipate the clinic to operate between 9am-4pm.
Thank you
