On the 18th of February 2026 British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal issued a judgment titled “British Columbia Teachers’ Federation and Barry Neufeld,” where in Mr. Neufeld, a school board trustee, was found to have violated the British Columbia Human Rights Code and was ordered to pay $750k in damages to LGBT identifying teachers in Chilliwack, BC. Today on Don’t Talk TV, we’ll have a look at that decision and the implications it has for public discourse and freedom of speech, and even of thought, in Canada in 2026.
