It is not that the concept is bad. A reasonable amount of Canadian money sent to the poor and needy is an act of virtue. On a moral level, this is righteous behaviour. And yet, under-the-table developments indicate Canadians must become aware of the true circumstances.

A review of the nearly $1 billion in foreign aid  Canada quietly spent in Afghanistan has “found some successes– but also many failures — especially when it comes to helping women and girls.”

“The problem comes in the form of under-reported corruption,” reported Canada’s Global News.

  1. Not only foreign aid not getting intended recipents. I believe that much of the indigenous aid as well along with intended funds certain provinces is also going elsewhere. Probably to their “foreign aid” funds that is also being used for ill gotten gains. Forensic Audits for all government actions is required. Salaries, expenses, and aid. The bank accounts of ALL potential politicians needs to bee audited before they run, then again at the end of each term. ALL funds that are out of whack for the time period needs to be thoroughly questioned and sizeable fines issued.
