No Trust in Pandemic Leadership

Like many people in British Columbia I want to see the evidence provided by Dr Bonnie Henry to support her grand pandemic proclamations. I want to see evidence that booster shots are effective when the WHO advises against them, requesting a moratorium and the US FDA declined to approve them for under 65’s.
I want to see evidence supporting vaccination for younger people. The UK JAVI stated they do not see the risk-reward benefit, failing to approve them for broader use outside of high risk groups. In Ontario around 100 young people showed side effects similar to myocarditis, which has a 50% mortality rate within 3-5 years. Are we going to expose our young people to the same risks? Why is there an agenda from political leadership to vaccinate young people when the death rate for children during trails was 1 per 1,000. US CDC numbers report a Covid death rate of 1 per 174,803. Thats an increase in mortality rate of 174. So where is the answer to the question “why”. Where is the justification? Where is the informed consent for the recipients and their parents? Why does Dr Henry never reference any of these issues or inform parents of the risks? Why are we not talking openly about this, like adults?
We have the emerging Japanese R.1 variant appearing in Kentucky. 45 fully vaccinated people got infected and this variant appears fully resistant to vaccines. Vermont has the the highest vaccination rate in the US, and guess what? Cases ramped up higher than anything seen previously. In New England claims are being made that 100% of the population need to be vaccinated. Insanity prevails.
I don’t appreciate Dr Henry’s mealy mouthed condescending attitude towards the public. We are spoken to in an infantile manner that fails to recognize that people need answers and justification for the endless health tyranny. We have flip flop decisions on mask mandates, decisions made contrary to Dr Henry’s previous documented statements made to medical advisory panels and we have flip flops about vaccine passports. Dr Henry has never shown the scientific evidence that vaccine passports reduce transmission. How many lives will vaccine passports save? I wager the answer is zero.
We had statements that 70-80% vaccinated will take us out of the pandemic and to Step 4 of reopening, instead we have more draconian measures, social division and medical apartheid. Dr Henry states this is a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” but the BC CDC refuses to break down analysis by “unvaccinated” and “vaccinated within 3 weeks of first dose”. Every time deaths are discussed no breakdown is given but we’re told that they are all seniors and mostly in care homes. So, we are to assume they are all vaccinated. Exactly what is there to hide? We are further away from Step 4 than ever, locked in to an eternal pandemic. If you had paid any attention to the genuine experts who know the mechanics of pandemics, they predicted this. Politicians peddled promises, none of which have been fulfilled.
Dr Henry never explained why we are now significantly worse than before. Canada now has 4x as many deaths, 4x as many cases, 7x as many hospitalizations, 9x as many ICU admissions as this time last year. Last year nobody was vaccinated. The unvaccinated blame game is getting tiresome. I want answers from Bonnie Henry. Why? How? Instead of her condescending waffle I would like some solid scientific explanation with evidence of why we are still in this dystopian nightmare. And the only way this can be explained is by using facts, evidence, proven research, honesty and integrity. Insisting on vaccinating every human, their cat, dog, parrot, hamster and every other living thing is clearly not the solution. Insanity defines doing the same thing expecting different results.There is absolutely no accountability whatsoever.
Florida started using monoclonal antibodies, treating 100k patients. Hospital admissions are down 60% and declining daily, ER visits for Covid assessment are down 70%. This is consistent with the Blaze-1 clinical trials, a 70% reduction in admissions and deaths. This tremendously reduces hospital load. Perhaps Dr. Henry could send a minion to Florida to figure this out? The Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (population over 200m) has virtually eliminated Covid by using Ivermectin (the elephant in the room). They now have about 20 cases a day, from a high of over 30k. How is this even possible? Perhaps we could make good use of taxpayers money by flying a couple of their experts here to get some insight. Some people in BC have a certain arrogance that we can’t learn anything from the “third world”.
How can Bonnie Henry or Theresa Tam possibly ignore this? Our collective misery continues while they mumble and bumble blindly through each day staggering from failure to setback to disappointment, and we move backwards. Has BC started any trials of these treatments, or leveraged research from anywhere else?
For those seeking the answers that the apparently unaccountable high priestess Dr Henry refuses to give the BC public, I suggest going to the US FDA youtube page and look for the open public session of 17th September presented by experts and scientists. You will find the answers and inconvenient truths that Dr Henry refuses to provide to the public. It seems that in BC we have to use resources from around the world to find the answers we are looking for to make sense of this madness and ineptitude. Excuses and plaudits are just not cutting it.
But there is one very clear answer for those with doubts. On page 41 of Dr Bonnie Henry’s book, she admits that her decisions were based on political pressure. So to what extent has that increased through 2021? BC was told there would be no vaccine passport, yet just a few weeks later, vaccine passports were announced. Yet we have not seen any scientific proof of the effectiveness of vaccine passports on the pandemic. They are merely punishments for political dissidents (the unvaccinated refuseniks).
We are seriously lacking any sort of dynamic, open minded, innovative leadership to extract ourselves from this eternal miasma, and we are getting third rate service from our leadership. Like many others I have zero faith in our leadership to move us forward. They cannot answer simple questions. In fact simple questions can’t even get a public airing for debate.
There is no trust, because there is no competence, credibility, integrity, honesty, openness, discussion, debate or dialogue. As taxpayers we are within our rights to challenge and criticize our public servants.
We are in the middle of a political pandemic with a social agenda, rather than a genuine, terrifying, life-threatening pandemic.

Well written Ricky. It seems the more who get the jab (let’s stop calling it a vax) the more the “cases”, hospitalizations and deaths are occurring. One only has to look at the numbers in Alberta since they bribed people with $100.00 to have the jab. As to the “cases” how many are really ill and how many are Asymptomatic – they don’t share that information. And as to the testing – we’ve heard they are not accurate so why use them? What happened to flu and colds? And then children numbers are going up – hello people every time the new school year starts children come home sick and pass it around the family. I know as I’m a Mother and Grandmother! People need to open their eyes and start using their brains and stop idolizing our public health officials who are not using science or telling the truth. As you said it’s political. I’m sure lots of money is also involved. One wonders if there is anyone in Government who is not corrupt. Where are the Drs, Nurses, ambulance paramedics? Funeral directors? Why are coroner’s not speaking out about what they are finding? I know some of these are but not enough to be heard by the media who are also deep into the cover up. I am so fed up with hearing about anti-vaxers – time may show them as being the only people who are/were sane! We are treated as children. First scolded, then fined and/or jailed and now bullied and being punished if we don’t get the jab/passport. Most adults are able to do research but a lot only listen and read the lying media. Most adults are aware of their bodies and current health and know if a jab “feels” right to them or not. I don’t see how a vaccination center can determine if an individual should or should not have it as they do not know each person’s state of health, allergies or even how the medication they may be on might react with whatever is in the jab. I guess they don’t really care. I don’t think anyone much knows what is in them! It should be each individuals choice. The pitting of vax vs not needs to end. I wonder if our “esteemed (not)” leaders have ever heard the story of the boy who cried wolf!
