The San Francisco Gay-Men’s Choir released a controversial viral video in which the singers promised to “corrupt your kids” and “convert your children” knowing that it would trigger a strong negative reaction. Then, when people pushed back, they claimed to be victims. In another case, the Chicago Public School Board of Education announced it will put free condoms in every school for children in 5th grade and higher. Kenneth Fox, the head doctor for CPS, said that while it is not the norm for 10 and 11-year old children to engage in sex and that not everyone would be on board with the new policy from the start, he added, “I do think society has changed.” The policy is guided by critical-race theory as Chicago Public Schools released an “equity statement” that states it “seeks to mitigate the effects of numerous inequities experienced by CPS students, such as access to sexual-health education and services.” A third example of the hypersexualizing of children occurred in London last week when a library was forced to apologize after a man, dressed in a rainbow-colored bare-bottomed monkey costume with a visible fake penis, was hired to perform in front of children.
