Josh Sigurdson reports on the the recent news that a chemical weapons expert and rocket scientist Theodore Postol has exposed new video of the supposed state sponsored chemical attack in Syria as propaganda. As the MIT rocket scientist said to Washington’s Blog,
“I agree that the footage is harrowing. However none of it is new and none of it proves that the Syrian government was the perpetrator of a nerve agent attack.
As such, this article merely falls into the category of propaganda.
The kindest alternative description of the article is that it might instead be yet another example of bad reporting that mixes ill-considered assumptions with facts that may or may not be relevant to its conclusions.
This kind of reporting could actually be encouraging such attacks.
If there was a false flag nerve agent attack, this tells the perpetrators that when they engage in the murder of children they can build a stronger false case against the Syrian government and thereby increase their chances of creating political pressure on the US Government to intervene militarily on their behalf.
If people are sickened by the inhumanity of these events, they might want to consider alternative explanations of who might be responsible for the immoralities we are seeing.”
While the west has armed and funded these “rebel” groups for decades creating a Hegelian Dialectic, Mr. Postol is absolutely right as well to note how these false flags strengthen the enemies.
If every single attack they perpetrate is blamed on their enemies, that sure makes their job real easy.
The fact that people honestly believe that just a few days after the Trump administration said they would not try to overthrow Assad, that he would randomly decide to attack his own people is absurd.
It’s one of the most obvious false flags in decades.
Time to stop blindly following the news. Time to stop allowing the MSM to convince us that hundreds of thousands of deaths will bring justice to just a few.
Time to stand for individual liberty, not global state coercion.
