The Western Standard has learned that Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer will appoint Leona Alleslev as his Deputy Leader tomorrow.

Alleslev was first elected as a Liberal MP under Justin Trudeau in 2015, but crossed the floor to the Tories in September 2018. In her one year as a Conservative, the Ontario MP served as a backbencher under Scheer.

Scheer is expected to unveil the rest of leadership team tomorrow morning.
